The Comparisons: What’s the Difference?
Backcountry Pro Hunter vs. Stock Pro Hunter
The stock Pro Hunter HD introduced pro style pins with a rounded pin head and tapered throat. But we wanted to improve on this with a few key changes for our Backcountry Pro Hunter.
- The S&S Difference: We’ve swapped the expensive Wing Truss for the compact and bridgelock compatible 4” dovetail. We’ve also changed the default all .019 pin color mix to low light friendly .019 green pins on the top and .010 green pins on the bottom with a yellow pin in the middle.
Backcountry Pro Dual Trac vs. Stock Pro Dual Trac
While the stock Pro Dual Trac is a solid sight, our Backcountry Pro Dual Trac version bumps it up a notch.
The S&S Difference: Again, we swapped the Wing Truss for either the bridglock compatible 4” dovetail, or the pic mount. We also removed the bottom .019 red pin that tends to be really blurry in bright sunlight with a smaller more precise .010 green pin.
Inline Dual Trac vs. Mountain Lite Dual Trac
The Mountain lite dual trac is a simpler version of the pro dual track, but we made it better with our Inline Dual Trac
- The S&S Difference: We swapped out the ML3 base on the Mt lite dual trac and offer a 4” bridgelock compatible dovetail or pic mount. This gets you into a dual trac inline sight in a simpler form and allowing you to save a few dollars in the process.
